After a glorious victory, Odysseus and his courageous crew face monsters, tempests, sorcery, and the gods themselves during their epic journey home. The Northwest premiere of this new adaptation explores the lines between heroism and recklessness, pride and hubris, perseverance and obstinacy. In recounting this timeless story, the Youth Opera Project examines choices that guide and foster our humanity. Presented by Seattle Opera and Seattle Public Theater, Odyssey is performed by youth ages 718 with a professional chamber orchestra and is geared for audiences of all ages.
COST: Tickets are $15 for adults and $5 for children aged 18 and under, but nobody will be turned away for inability to pay.
