What is sensory play?
Sensory play is also known as messy play, and the messier the play, the better!
It is play that incorporates a wide variety of textural interaction. Sensory play encourages children to learn in their own way, at their own pace.
By manipulating a variety of materials, children refine their sense of touch, sight, smell, sound and sometimes even taste.

The more diverse the textural experiences, the richer their cognitive and language development will be.
Play.Perx provides experiences for children aged 1-3 years that allow them to receive and utilize sensory input.
Just some of the materials used for messy play include paint, dried pasta, shredded paper, rice and more! It is messy play without the mess at home.
