Do you have an 8 or 9 year-old? at UW-Madison is looking for families to help with their child development research.
study is looking to understand how children's current emotional states influence differences in their ability to learn about and use positive and negative information in their environment.
Children (ages 8 and 9-years-old) are invited to participate from home in this online study involving simple computer games. The study takes about 30 minutes and families receive a $10 Amazon Gift Card for participating.
What will children be asked?
Children will be asked to play a game in which they see different shapes followed by pictures. Some pictures are positive, like a puppy or a smiling baby, and some are negative, like a scary face or a cut finger. Children will also answer some questions about how they have been feeling recently.
You can find more information or participate in the research by going to the website listed

Participate anytime – no appointments! Webcam video of your child’s responses will be analyzed by scientists to better understand how children learn about emotions.
