The Swing Shift: Resume Reality Check

Saturday 12th of May
by Jemma (follow)
Did you know that 70 percent of resumes submitted today will never be viewed by human eyes?

If you are a woman trying to return to work or move into a new position, you’ll want to make sure your resume is not one of those lost in the digital vortex.

Join The Swing Shift for their upcoming Resume Reality Check Workshop on Saturday May 12th. In this hands-on, interactive workshop, the hiring managers from Blueprint Technologies will share expert advice on what works and what doesn’t in today’s job market. You’ll leave with a stronger resume and LinkedIn profile better suited for the modern job search.

The Swing Shift is the destination for women in career transition. Their mission is to empower every woman with the necessary skills, strategies and mindset to guide her own career path.

Topics they’ll cover:

What do the strongest resumes have in common?
Where does LinkedIn fit in?
How do you explain a gap in employment?
How can you position yourself for an entirely new career direction?
Who ultimately gets hired and why?

When: Saturday 12th May 2018, 9am - 1pm

Where: Blueprint Technologies: 350 106th Ave NE, Bellevue, WA 98004

Price:$75 (General Public) / $50 (The Swing Shift/ReBoot Seattle Alumni). Sign up here.

Please submit your current resume and LinkedIn profile by April 30th so that their hiring experts can review them in advance of the workshop.
