Brent Rogers was born and raised in Seattle, Washington where he worked as a production glass blower and designer at the Glass eye studio. He has been an active member of studio 5416 in Ballard since it opened in April 2010. Brent studied glass and illustration concepts at the Pratt Fine Art Center, Pilchuck Glass School and as an intern at Benjamin Moore Incorporated.
Rogers has been exploring an idea of using glass forms as housings for speakers, in hopes of creating a new aesthetic for an object that has previously been a black wooden box.
